A Note from the Principal

Dear Parents and Students:

Welcome to 2012! Happy New Year, as tradition dictates. We are excited about the possibilities that await us in 2012. But before we move ahead, we must take time to look at the successes of 2011.

  • AIMS and Dibels scores showed an increase in student achievement.
  • Centennial continues to implement a reading intervention program designed to focus on all individual needs.
  • PTO is amazing with the Family Fun Festival and in supporting our teachers.
  • The Skills and Project Max programs showed increased enrollment.
  • Honoring a Rodel Exemplary teacher, Ms. Dauenhauer.
  • Record attendance at our parent education Fall in Love with Reading Night for grades K-3 reading.
  • Continued enrichment offerings through Hooked on Books, Reading Counts, and Mathemagicians.
  • Continuing to build parent connections through World By Me.

We look forward to 2012 and the rewarding challenges. Bring it on!

Sincerely,

Dr. Lynette Patton
